PHP introduction

PHP stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor. PHP is an Open source software.PHP is a powerful tool for making a interactive web services.PHP is most similar to HTML. Php is a server side scripting. They are executed on server.PHP supports the databases like Mysql, Oracle ..etc.. It is compatible with almost all servers like (Apache, IIS, ..etc.).

PHP file:

 PHP file can contain both HTML  tags, Text and scripts. 

The extension of the PHP file are ".php", ".php3"  or ".phtml"

Mostly ".php" is used.

Use PHP:

To get an access to a web server with php support, you can

  - Install Apache or IIS on your web server and Install PHP and Mysql
